The PDK has been designed to be a smaller fighter/utility kukri that can easily be carried on a daily basis. The intent behind the PDK design is to have at hand all the devastating power of a kukri only in a smaller, easier to carry package. A kukri that can be used as a defensive knife or for utility tasks. The blade is double ground to ease penetration and the top edge may be sharpened. The PDK has sure but comfortable top and bottom jimping. The PDK blade is made of American CPM S35VN and is PVD coated. Features full tang construction with exposed and radiused tang edges. This is done to reduce rolling in the hand and add impact strength to the handle. The scales are strongly contoured to give a sure and comfortable grip. The PDK handle is comfortable in forward and reverse grip and is intended to be used both in a choked up or rear hold position. The pommel end of the PDK features an exposed lanyard hole. The sheath is molded of .080 thick Boltaron and features a custom molded, removable belt loop. The sheath has a break front design for faster drawing and re sheathing. Sheath features ample tiedown points/slots for alternative mounting solutions. Sheath has a molded drain feature. The PDK was designed and built in the USA, built from 100% USA sourced materials.
